I have beat up your quads considerably this week so please take a long look in the mirror and ask yourself if you need a rest day. I am definitely for rest days but it is up to the individual. Some of you know how much that 10 mile 150 burpee workout killed you so for those who have been at Arctic all four training days may want to take a day off. More training doesn’t yield better results; smart training and knowing your body does.
If you notice this workout has squats in it but it is only 45 but compounded by that is the ‘almost’ squat mechanic of rowing. So keep this in mind when asking if you need a rest day.
You definitely need a rest day if you are waking up more at night then usual. This is a huge indicator that you are slightly overtrained or that in your training your nutrition is not good. Either way, a day off will be beneficial!
